Iyad El-Rifai

My training took place in Kashagan area on D-island in Kazakhstan under a group of competent engineers. This project is the first of its kind as it was mostly constructed onshore then moved to the artificial islands. Site-queries, which are very rare in other projects were very frequent in this one. Of course, there were the occasional difficulties in submitting the test-packs to undergo the hydro-test. All in all, the project as nearing its end and I can say it was a tough but fascinating experience.
